Avatar problems

Hi,

is there any chance we will have an option for importing Avatars from phpbb3 into CB any time soon?

In addition i have a problem with syncing avatar pictures: The pictures get synced but it gets resized in phpbb3 making the feature unusuable. Any ideas? Has anyone else this problem?

As far as I know the Avatar sync should be disabled in the CB Connector.

There was a lot of disagreement about how this feature should work and a few issues in the original code such as the sizing so it was disabled in CB Connector until it gets worked up in the priorities again...

Hi Greg,

when avatar sync CB -> phpbb is enabled the avatars seem to get resized which usually looks butt ugly. You have an idea what is responsible for this? It isnt the connector code, or is it?

I will have to look but it should be internally disabled in CB Connector...

Are you using Alpha 6 or Beta 2? (note in Alpha 6 forums)

Still using Alpha6, should i upgrade?

I would upgrade to Beta 2... it shouldn't be too long until v2 is released final though as the bug reports are not coming in quickly

ok, will upgrade tomorrow. Was busy cause i launched my site public 4 days ago and before that i was busy making it ready for launch....

Looks like I do have an issue with avatars... a second avatar sync function looks likely to be called... so disable the sync from the admin plugin parameters... I will fix on this end for next release.
