I am running a site with Joomla 1.0.13, latest version, ARTIO JoomSEF v2.2.4. Works fine thanks. everything OK

This site runs a phpBB2.0.22 forum with joomla embedding using Mehdi's bridge plugin Works also extremely fine. See site at http://www.netdynamics.eu and http://www.netdynamics.eu/forum for bridged forum, nice ain't it ?

I always wanted to upgrade to phpBB 3.0 as soon as it was possible. Now Olympus 3.0.0 stable is out since dec 13, I had done the upgrade. Forum conversion from 2.0.22 up to 3.0 was extremely efficient, congratulation to the phpBB team. See my upgraded new forum at http://www.netdynamics.eu/Forum

To embed this Olympus, I decided to install Joomla CB component as it is supposed to run with 1.0.13 Joomla AND 3.0 phpBB. Component install was extremely easy, and ssemed to have been efficient for users synchronization and everything related. I now have CB 1.1.0 equipped with Xajax4joomla.plugin.beta2
CB_connector-v2.0.0 beta2
and com_cbcwrapper1.0.5

freshly downloaded as latest available version from joomlapolis or cbconnector.com

seems to be OK for wrapping my forum inside my joomla, as asked inside com_cbcwrapper config

BUT

AIN'T WORKIN'

forum invisible, blank page, you can test by yourself inside my website by clicking the 'new forum' item from the bottom of the main menu.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I can't see your issue currently as I get a 'could not connect to database server' error.

1 Guess though... try the new forum when logged in and when logged out... my guess is that it will work when logged out but not in... reason is that as I was tweaking the wrapper a bit I noticed that it seemed to be picky when passing a ?sid parameter thru the link... Could not identify why it was picky but did identify a possible work-around. For history's sake the wrapper used to work properly and on some setups still continues to work properly (for instance the Forum in Wrapper menu item on this site).

Side note... The currently available CB Wrapper simply uses an IFRAME and loads the external web/forum page in that IFRAME... same as Joomla's wrapper component (since it was the base).

I am currently working on a new version of the CB Wrapper which will show the forum in the IFRAME but will also dynamically modify links to point thru the wrapper, reroute registration, etc.... so it should be much better than the current CB Wrapper.

Forgot to add... if you find that logged out it works but not logged in... let me know and I will do a quick update to fix that issue alone...

But today I got the same answer you mention, i.e. can not connect to database and it is the case wether logged or not . Which I had not yesterday..... I do not explain this ... (got blank page yesterday)

finally, I removed the phpBB 3.0, I will wait until a new version of the connector is out, this beta 2 does not seem to be OK for my equipment.
